What does shipping cost?
Hong Kong orders ship free at any order value and arrive next day by SF Express once the piece is dispatched.
For the other fourteen markets, shipping is free on orders of HK$9,000 and above. Below that it is a flat HK$450, the same whether the parcel is going to Singapore or Ulaanbaatar, and regardless of what is inside it.
A flat fee behaves very differently at different price points, and the arithmetic is worth doing before you add to cart.

Who collects import fees, and how much will they be?
Hong Kong is a free port, so nothing is added as sales tax at checkout. What you pay Carat Club Co. is the price of the piece, plus shipping if shipping applies.
Parcels leave Hong Kong DDU, delivered duty unpaid. Your own country assesses its import VAT, GST or duty when the parcel arrives, and FedEx collects that amount from you, normally before it releases the parcel. Carat Club Co. never handles that money and never marks it up.
No rate is quoted here, on purpose. Thresholds and rates differ by country and by product category, they get revised, and a confidently wrong number would cost you more than a blank one. How long does it take from order to doorstep?
Every piece is made after the order rather than pulled off a shelf. Order to dispatch runs 2 to 3 weeks. Tennis bracelets and tennis necklaces take up to 4 weeks, because every stone along the length is set and matched by hand. Transit time sits on top of that and depends on your city.

What protects the parcel in transit?
Hong Kong deliveries travel with SF Express declared-value protection, paid for by Carat Club Co.
International orders go by FedEx, tracked, with signature required on delivery, covered to the maximum FedEx permits for fine jewellery. Couriers cap declared value on jewellery, which is precisely why the signature requirement matters. It is the link in the chain that proves the parcel reached a person and not a lobby. Do not authorise an unattended drop-off, and if you are going to be away, redirect to a staffed address before dispatch rather than after.
What happens once it arrives?
One year of complimentary repair covers a loosened stone, a clasp or fitting problem, and plating wear under normal use.
A manufacturing defect is exchanged for the same product, reported within 7 days of delivery with photos.
There are no returns. All sales are final. At typical industry rates returns cost a jewellery business around 5% of revenue, and that money does not evaporate, it gets priced in, which means the decisive customers end up paying for the indecisive ones. What can you verify about the stones?
Not every diamond in every piece carries a certificate, and a brand that claims otherwise is worth a second look. Stones of 0.5ct and above in the certified lines come with an individual IGI certificate and a laser-inscribed number you can match against the paperwork. Below 0.5ct, stones are not certified by default: independent grading costs more than the stone itself, and paying for it would land in the price without buying you anything. Certification below 0.5ct is available on request.
